Recall: Nautilus T616 & T618 Treadmills Start on Their Own and Cause Fall Hazard

On June 9, 2022, Nautilus announced that two models of treadmills sold during 2021, the model T616 and T618, can start on their own without user input, causing a hazard. This has been reported by 21 users, and it applies to about 7,300 treadmills sold.

Fortunately, it’s a firmware fix. Nautilus will ship a USB flash drive to you that you plug into the machine to update it and fix the issue.

Both the T616 and T618 models are still sold, with the latest firmware that prevents this issue.

Full recall notice is here.
