Ah, I see what you’re saying now, marking the bench spot on the floor.
Great idea with the grease pencil for height marking. I believe I used masking tape once. Gotta be used in a spot that won’t get rubbed off by the J hooks I guess.

No, I use the Sharpie on the concrete floor; on my rack, which does not have numbers, I use a grease pencil, 49 cents or so from Home Depot. Comes right off with a shot of WD-40 & a rag.

Indeed, I’ve heard of that. I guess if you don’t mind marking up your equipment it should work nicely!

A thought: in my garage gym, I tried marking the spot for the bench with stickers, now do it with just a sharpie—works great.
