Actually here’s a second option for the straps I had noted that will also fit on Titan brackets. These have wear guards and pound ratings.

Good question. I had the StrapWorks slings linked here years ago but I must have removed it after other options became available. I’ll add it again.
Here’s what you can do. Get the Titan T-3 24″ strap system, remove the bolts to remove the existing straps (they’re too short for an R-6) and install nylon slings from StrapWorks.

Titan customer service people don’t know the first thing about any of their products. The strap length works. You set them a little higher up and they hang down.

From Titan customer service: “Unfortunately the depth would not match up with that 30″ so we do not have a safety strap that would fit that rack. I apologize for the inconvenience.”
