Thanks for sharing. I don't see anything on Excalibur Fitness except local listings in Spokane. If they get a website going then I probably can add them! I really like the look of stainless steel over painted steel.

Hi Mr. Kiesling: Have you ever heard of a small fitness equipment manufacturing company called Excalibur Fitness? Larry Sullivan is the owner of Excalibur Fitness, based in Spokane, Washington. Excalibur Fitness is the only company in the United States, or the World, that makes fitness equipment out of high polish 304 stainless steel.

High polish 304 stainless steel does not peel, chip, or rust. Stainless steel does scratch, but you can repolish to a mirror finish using a rouge, and a polishing compound.

Larry Sullivan was the foreman of Icarian during their early years. He often worked overtime fabricating and designing equipment. He was so high respected by the founders (Briles/Johnson), that he was eventually given a small percentage. First generation Icarian, Flex, Body Master, and Cybex were in all of the Gold's, World's and Power House gyms. Those pieces of heavy-duty equipment took decades of abuse by bodybuilders, and powerlifters.

Excalibur Fitness custom built us, two-two tier 3/8 stainless steel fully welded dumbbell racks with double saddles, with gussets. The top tier, and bottom tier of the dumbbell racks are separate. We paid seven thousand in 2005. Larrry Sullivan delivered equipment to us in San Francisco in 2011. He replied, if he had to make the same racks, it would cost eleven thousand. It is now 2025, and stainless-steel prices have skyrocketed. Larry Sullivan also fabricates stainless steel gates, stainless steel balconies, which highlights his artistic side.

I just found your website, and hope to read more of your articles. Thank you.

I could put together something. If there are at least a few I could compare them. I saw Bells of Steel sells them. Any other companies?
