Rogue won’t replace them. After 7 lifting sessions I have bare metal on one and other isn’t far behind. Most I have lifted on them is 190lbs.

Both bars are very quiet when dropped compared to other bars I own or have used. I assume this is due to American Barbell building bars with tighter tolerances than most other manufacturers.

AB has had them for years. Although they don’t say it clearly or in plain English, I’m betting all Rogue is doing is using ceramic bushings, maybe non-metallic end caps.

I own the American Barbell Elite Power Bar in stainless steel as my main bar and smooth sleeves are by far underrated in my opinion over the popular noisy ribbed sleeves and sliding plates on and off of smooth sleeves are a breeze and much quieter.
